My newest piece of art is an Angel Alien acrylic painting on canvas titled Butch. I painted this for a gallery show I was invited to participate in. The theme was one outside of my comfort zone… Angels.

Chrystal encouraged me and said it could be whatever take on the concept l wanted and it didn’t have to be traditional.

So I decided on painting an alien angel. A piece of art that my Dad would have loved. Hence the name of this piece, Butch.

Anyone who knew Pops knew him to be a far out guy with some far out interests. He was a huge fan of anything outer space and would enjoy conversations about the possibility of life on other planets.

I know he would have loved seeing this hang in an art gallery. I’m so grateful to be part of the grand opening show at LemonChrystal Artist Sanctuary. Thank you Chrystal for getting me out of my comfort zone with my art. 💜
